Rolex "Precision" Oyster Date. Circa late 1960's or early 1970's. 40 microns of 18k yellow gold plating, 18k yellow gold bezel, Rolex screw down stainless steel back. 17 jewel Rolex manual wind movement with date function. Date function has alternating red and black date numbers. Rolex screw down crown, Rolex spear-point hands and black matte dial. Originally made to be used as corporate gifts, these Rolex plated watches are extremely rare as not many were made. Especially this model, the Precision with the Date, as most that were produced were the Precision models without the date function. Watch is in good working order and keeping time.
